After our architectural project became clear, we exchanged ideas with LAMP 83 team about lighting design and calculations, project and product selection & placement processes. After an intensive work process, all the different needs in the project were met and the desired comfort was provided both in terms of products and light levels. The result was very satisfying.

When designing Altınbaş University, we started with the concept of “diamond” by thinking that the jewel inside of the students could come out as a result of the good education likewise treatment of a raw diamond founded in the nature. Thus our linear lines that are in contact, emerge and emphasize the continuity are integrated with LAMP 83's highly efficient linear products.

The products of LAMP 83 are not only technically illuminated but also act more or less a decorative lighting fixture, in addition to providing the light level and color we are seeking technically. Thanks to the successful use of different diffusers or reflectors within the products without changing visual perception, transitions between different locations or architectural areas were very successful. In order to reach well-thought and professional lighting design, one has to follow a very throughly considered way of working as well as to be in strong cooperation with major contributors of the project such as architectural office. Rather than store’s concept & decoration, we tried to emphasise the products and to display their colors as natural as possible without any disturbing effect of lighting. It was important for us to use light color temperature as 3000 K.

We aimed to have an illumination that would highlight our products as close as possible to their natural appearance and a sort of light color that would underline patterns of the stones while being eye-friendly. Due to their beam angles, reflector types and ability to emit the light, LAMP 83 luminaires in general provided us a light color tone that is the most natural. We’re satisfied to work with LAMP 83 who approached very professionally and informed us in details for every aspect.

As YARGICI we wanted to use domestic products featuring European standards & quality and we easily reached that target with LAMP 83. LAMP 83’s lighting project group not only created a proper lighting design, but also became our partner thanks to very quick revisions & reactions over the project. Lighting design, product selection, positioning of the luminaires in the project, Dialux simulations and visual presentations were some other aspects that distinguished LAMP83 from the others. Moreover an electrical engineer from LAMP 83 provided continuous support us along the way the project covering the initial project work, sample fixtures, delivery, after sales service etc. Therefore we chose to work with LAMP 83 and all in all we’re pretty satisfied with our preference.’
